ABOUT:

Michael recently lensed feature film ‘Sweet Milk Lake’ with director Harvey Zielenski - the project was funded through Screen Aus & Vic Screen & MIFF as part of the Originate program & will head to festivals in late 2025.

He also won two Gold awards through the Australian Cinematographer’s Society in late 2024 in the TVC (local/regional) & Music video categories for Vic / Tas. These were for a motion-controlled monster of a music video for Missy Higgins & a WILD commercial for the VCE which uses all sorts of crazy techniques to capture Gen Z’s attention.

He cut his teeth in the camera department in Los Angeles – working on shows like ‘Euphoria’ (HBO) and ‘Chefs Table’ (Netflix) but is very happy settled back in Melbourne surrounded by incredible crew, friends and family.
